Free tracking audit

See what your tracking really does.

We check up to five of your pages like a real visitor and explain every tag, pixel, cookie and consent signal we find. This is a first look. A Measurebase account runs all 278 checks every night and monitors your tracking every five minutes.

Consent

Does the banner really decide?

We load your pages twice, accepting and rejecting the banner, and name every tag that fires too early or ignores “Reject”.

  • Tags before consent
  • Cookies set after “Reject”
Tag Manager review

See why a tag fires, not only that it does.

Connect it read-only and we read the published version once: consent settings, event IDs and unused items.

  • Access expires within the hour
  • Web and server containers
Ad blocker check

Which requests an ad blocker would stop, and why.

Every measurement request is checked against the default settings of six blockers, from uBlock Origin and Adblock Plus to Brave and a DNS blocker, with the exact rule behind each block.

  • The matching rule, so you can check it
  • Lists refreshed every week

FAQ

Good to know

Is it safe to run on my website?

Yes. We load at most five public pages, one site at a time, and respect your robots.txt. Every measurement request is recorded and then stopped inside our browser, so your GA4, Google Ads and Meta accounts receive nothing from the audit.

What do you store, and who can see the report?

The website address, what its pages load, a small picture of the home page and the report, for 30 days. Anyone with the private link can open the report, so share it with care; reports are not listed or indexed anywhere. You can delete it earlier from its page. After a report is deleted we keep only the website address, the audit date and the score, for 24 months, for our own statistics. You do not need to give an email address. If you ask for an email when the audit is finished, we use your address for that one email and then delete it. A one-way hash of your IP address is kept for 24 hours to prevent abuse.

Why connect Google Tag Manager?

The pages show what loads; the container shows why. With read-only access you choose a web and a server container, we read their published versions once, add the container checks to your report and keep only the findings. While you choose, we hold the access encrypted for at most 15 minutes. We delete it after the read, and it expires within the hour anyway.

How exact are the page speed numbers?

They come from one load per page in a desktop browser on our server in the Netherlands, without throttling. They show which tags weigh most relative to each other. Your visitors’ phones and connections will give other absolute numbers.
